Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports the keeper aware of the Repub’s efforts to bring an animal into the White House as part of their efforts to warm up the pre-election image of the dreary leader.
Since dogs have steadfastly refused to go anywhere near the official grounds so long as Pete Hegseth marks territory with phony POTUS equipment; and cats said, “Don’t even, ask!” A committee led by Stephen Miller then suggested turning to the weasel family which includes the beaver, a symbol of expert planning, hard work, and dedication.
The idea was immediately endorsed by the POTUS, but ran into opposition from the weasel family which also includes the skunk and the badger. “We have our ‘standards’!” was the skunk’s indignant response, while the badger responded it was too busy with University of Wisconsin issues, particularly the football season to waste time promoting another hopeless cause.
The Badger went on to suggest checking with the bear family but there was no follow up when it was pointed out that since grizzly bear males kill the young of other males there could be a White House comparison image problem.
In the end, the reptile family declined to participate as did the amphibians, with the frogs remarking that the White House was a toxic swamp that killed anyone who did not have a billion-dollar swimming suit.
It is the keeper’s intention to follow the White House animal issue until it is resolved, or Phyllis suggests he think about something else between now and the midterms. He will go with whatever comes first and count on support from the Silver Badgers!
