Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports that the keeper will be filing a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against the man in India who spent an inordinate amount of time on the phone with Phyllis as the two of them discussed the intricacies of hooking up a new printer and even at one point compared their respective continental weather conditions.
All of this occurred as the witnessing keeper’s tension level approached that of a “re-entering” astronaut, due to a lifetime of conditioning whereby when you purchase an expensive electrical device, you take it home, plug it in and use it, at most following a couple of simple printed instructions.
In its side mission of keeping the keeper securely encased in his cocoon of tech ignorance, the computer world has once again told him that he has no business working beyond pen-and-paper technology, at the most a standard keyboard with a handy “delete” key.
He will accept that so long as Phyllis keeps her tech credentials up to date even if it means agonizingly long hours for her on the phone with an Indian “helper.”
When the courts award the keeper his multi-million dollars he plans to share with Phyllis who got the new printer functioning and passed along the word that it is very hot in India.
