Kickass, the doorstop dog, consults with the keeper about just what to do about April being the prom month after Phyllis says she has no interest in going to the prom because it hurts her feet to dance, especially as an inept dancing keeper is likely to step on her toes.
The keeper’s prom history is not the best. On his first attempt his signed-on date came down with the mumps, and on another occasion he missed being elected prom king by one vote, his own.
So maybe it is time for him to give up the prom scene, things like walkers and canes and crutches tending to add unnecessary clutter to a dance floor.
And what can he do when his steady girlfriend turns down his prom date offer over a little thing like stepped on toes?
Buy her a corsage, of course, for her incredible creative dance steps around her soup kettle.
