Kickass and Sexy Saturday

Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports that the keeper, in his careful study of this day between Good Friday and Easter, designates it as “Sexy Saturday.”

The designation is obvious considering that both the Easter Bunny and colored eggs were historically chosen as Easter symbols for their representation of wholesale reproduction.

The keeper’s research revealed that the goddess Eostre for whom Easter is named, once tried to turn the Easter Bunny into a bird, but it didn’t take or there might now be an Easter Pigeon.

Since Easter’s embrace of symbolic reproduction must necessarily include “mating,” a “Sexy Saturday” is no more out of line than a Psalm Sunday.

(If Kickass editor Phyllis decides the keeper’s suggestion is meritless or offensive or maybe both he may go back to the keyboard and write about the Kickass weather. In the meantime, HAPPY SEXY SATURDAY!)
