Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports the keeper will be offering his faded press credentials from the 1973 Democrat convention in New York for use in today’s protest gathering of the Silver Badgers and friends at Gammon Road and Tree Lane.
The keeper offered the ancient credentials to Phyllis but she said she did not need anything to prove to anyone that she had a right to be wherever she happened to be, especially as a Silver Badger.
Maybe the keeper will use the credential himself, doing his best to forget how old they are but confident that they still carry the authority to get the keeper out there with Phyllis and her friends, all of whom know why they are where they are, and carry signs to prove as much.
The keeper’s sign might read: “FREE PRESS,” You POTUS Phony!
