Kickass, the doorstop dog, notes, along with the keeper and Phyllis, that visitors from Canada bring reassurance that all is not lost, despite the inane babbling of the pitiful POTUS.
Phyllis’s sister Joan and her husband Bill are on their way back to their Saskatchewan home after a three-day visit which proved that sisters have a lot to talk about and Canadians in general sympathize with the US’s problem of a “bought” bonehead in the White House.
At least from Joan and Bill’s point of view the spillover threat to Canada is easily dealt with by ignoring the POTUS nonsense about everything from statehood to renaming the new Gordy Howe bridge at Detroit.
As a hobbyist rock collector, Bill took with him back to Canada a few samples of US rocks, unfortunately none that could be authenticated as having spent time with all of those rocks in the POTUS’s head.
During Joan and Bill’s visit, the keeper carefully watched Phyllis for any indication that she might be thinking of joining her sister and returning with her to the country of her birth. There did not seem to be any such signs, and Joan and Bill went off down the road to Canada as Phyllis and the keeper waved goodbye.
It had been a great personal and geographic visit all around!
“Eh?”
