Kickass, the doorstop dog, agrees with the keeper that he is a “lucky dog” to be launching another project with granddaughter Sarah in which they explore the world of podcasts.
Once a long time ago the two of them, with other family members’ help, wrote and produced “Naked at Amazo” a three-act comedy with a big cast that played to sold-out audiences at the Mazomanie Community Center.
It was a great experience, and a book containing the story and the complete play was recently published by Phyllis and is being looked at for possible play revival on the Madison drama scene.
The podcast project is aimed at bringing together generations separated by age with material and presentations that all ages identify with.
It is an ambitious endeavor that depends largely on Sarah’s drive and skills, and the keeper’s ability to listen when Phyllis tells him to use caution with some of his podcast story telling.
