Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports the keeper and Phyllis being warned to stay away from most natural bodies of water as they are polluted with human and animal waste and will make you sicker than a duck in the DC reflecting swamp.
In responding to the urge to return to the water from whence they came, the populace ignores the verity that even pigs recognize–do not befoul the nest!
Currently, most waterfront property is in the narcissistic hands of big money for both residential and commercial exploitation. Simple beach goers with a towel and a sun hat are allowed onto the scene under strict control, and now with the information about cesspool conditions.
Better to create your own reflecting pool in a big lemonade cooler in the backyard, make sure the hammock ties are tight and squirt the kids with the garden hose while asking yourself what the fish think about humans apparently wanting to rejoin them?
