Kickass, the doorstop dog, will be up and yapping with the keeper and Phyllis with the following announcement:

BILL AND PHYLLIS ARE HAVING A BOOK!

It’s title is Ah, the Women! and it tells the story of how women take over the world to save it from the disastrous excesses of the male libido as evidenced down through history and currently.

Bill wrote its 50,000 words over the past two years, and Phyllis is publishing Ah, the Women! through Amazon under her Trillium Press label.

Advance readers said things like “Hold onto your hat!” “Wow!” and “Whew!”

Set in a small midwestern river valley community, Ah, the Women! is narrated by coming-of-age Stony as he deals with first- love Cohy, his problem dog Jasper, obstreperous Uncle Alvin, motherly Maggie and nemesis Lizzie of the Little Hope Church who questions the gender of Jesus and supervises the “ball-bearing” funeral.

An informal public Book Launch is scheduled for Friday, June 19 at 1:30 pm in the community room of Vista West, 150 Bella Vista Dr. where Bill and Phyllis reside.
