Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports that the keeper received a 95^th birthday notice from OLD friend Roger Locke, a fellow member of the Barron WI. High School class of 1949. The class was close to 100 in 1949 and may now be represented only by Roger and the keeper who will celebrate his 95^th birthday on 9/11.

Roger’s birthday notice came with a delightful photo of him sitting at a large table surrounded by attractive, smiling women. It gave the keeper an opportunity to recall the 3^rdgrade “fist fight” he and Roger had at the old Ward School over a new girl in class. Roger won, of course and his birthday photo indicates he is still winning with the ladies.

So is the keeper as he asks the lovely Phyllis how to send Roger a birthday card and a message about a possible class reunion.
