Kickass and Being a Brewers Fan

Kickass, the doorstop dog, notes the keeper’s acknowledgement of important events as baseball’s World Series produced a seven-run spectacular “hitters’ inning” that put the Milwaukee Brewers on the cusp of winning it all.

As a casual fan, the keeper was impressed along with those fans who paid hundreds — even thousands — to have watched the spectacle in person.

While the keeper has problems embracing the veracity and miraculous timing of certain widely accepted interpretations, he has no problem with the fact that the day of the Brewers’ big inning was followed by “National Beer Day” which had obviously been set on the calendar a long time ago.

More unlikely timing coincidences have gone on to become major social and religious organizations, and the keeper wonders at the possibility of the big inning and National beer day as the base for something like “The Guzzlers’ Lodge” or the “Church of Foam and Fans.”
The keeper might talk it over with Phyllis who once helped found a girls softball league in Sturgeon Bay where she lived, and then accompanied her daughter Gina’s team to a Girls’ Little League World Series. Gina was the catcher, and the event elicited an interview by Bob Uecker.

With such an in-house authority as that, the keeper will delay any personal plans and have a bottle of Spotted Cow to toast the Brewers’ big inning on National Beer Day!
