Kickass and Having a Book

Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports that the keeper joins Phylis in announcing that the keeper will no longer be working long hours on “Oh, The Women!” his novel about women saving the world from the ravishes of libido-driven men.

It is finished, or “abandoned” in a form the keeper can live—and die with, and as advance readers are sought and publishing possibilities are explored by Phyllis who is likely to do a better job than Simon and Schuster.

If there is a parallel in writing a book and having a baby the keeper now identifies with the new mother who needs help with infant bawling, dirty diapers and proud displaying.

Kickass will be posting the “Oh, The Women!” saga as it plays out, and he urges patience with the “new mother” keeper in his postpartum paralysis.
