Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports the keeper ever anxious to recognize some benefit of war, particularly the one he participated in, wonders if his Korean duty, which was about taking the kinks out of the 38th parallel, might have some application with just how to get out of the Strait of Hormuz war before gas goes to $20 a gallon.
It would be the keeper’s suggestion that something like the “point system” used by the Army in Korea be established as an exit strategy for individuals who might have become entangled in the current “war” and don’t know how the hell to get out.
Called the “Wade Out System,” those who want out of the war will be measured for height and then instructed to “wade out” to a depth exceeding their height by at least one foot where they will stand at attention until they are carried away by the tide.
The safe assumption is that the Commander In Chief and Pete Hegseth will lead the “Wade Out” action, claiming it was part of their plan all along and the whole thing is the Pope’s fault.
(On a personal note, the keeper will cheer on Phyllis and the Silver Badgers today as they assemble at 2 pm out on Gammon to support such things as democracy and the “Wade Out.”)
