Kickass, the doorstop dog, observes Phyllis working at the computer all day to file her and the keeper’s income tax forms, after which she suggested that perhaps a tax revolt might be in order considering how the government—particularly the current one, spends so much tax money on bombs and bullets, not to mention the POTUS’s bitcoin collection.
From the Boston Tea Party down through history tax revolt has a long and colorful history. The keeper likes the “Molasses Act” which was replaced by the “Sugar Act” to make it easier to buy booze.
It is, of course depressing, as Phyllis points out, to send what seems like excessive amounts of modest incomes to cover what the billionaire POTUS friends are not paying.
If Phyllis advances her tax revolt inclination beyond the threat stage, the keeper will obviously be with her all the way to a federal lockup, maybe down south where February is not such a pain in the ass.
