Kickass, the doorstop dog, will be working with the keeper and Phyllis as they put the finishing touches on the revised charter of the “What, Me Worry?” club as membership applications pour in.

Genesis for creating the WMW club comes, of course, from the pandemic of worry engulfing the planet over how to eliminate the cockroaches in a main DC public housing project, and then how to fumigate the place to remove offensive odors to make it reusable.

As the “What, Me Worry?” club charter will show, worrying as a group activity could replace bowling using the same balls and with activity concentrated in alleys.

Given its solid history of worrying about everything from “The British are coming!” to “A day that will live in infamy!” the US citizenry is well positioned to make its worrying as effective as worrying can possible be.

The first worry rule in the revised “What! Me Worry?” charter is: “Mix up your worrying. Sometimes worry about the DC political mess but other times worry about where to find a public restroom or where the heck you put the car keys.”
