Kickass, the doorstop dog, notes that the keeper, being married to Canadian-born Phyllis, feels a special concern with the word out of Canada that the Canadians are through visiting the US due to it having been taken over by the gang that couldn’t shoot straight, especially on 5th Avenue.
Previous visits by Phyllis’s sister Joan and her husband Bill from Saskatchewan, where Phyllis was born, were always enjoyable and interesting and the keeper would not like to think there will be no more of them. Though Bill is a golfer he can also tell fish stories, and Phyllis and Joan are nonstop in sorting through family matters, there being nine siblings for them to work on.
Many thousand Canadians traditionally travel to and through the US in their annual migration to warmer winter venues, but the word is that this year they plan to stay home and freeze rather than have anything to do with a place where armed ICE goons might stick a gun in their back and demand to see their passports.
Well, hear this, Joan and Bill: If you’re not coming to visit us, we are coming to visit you and we may be staying a while. Living under a regime of narcissistic idiots is more than the keeper and Phyllis can handle long term.
We will be bringing cheese curds and brandy for old fashioneds.
