Kickass, the doorstop dog, got his Christmas haircut yesterday over at the hair and beauty college–“AVEDA”–just across the parking lot.
The clipping and snipping were under Phyllis’s supervision using the reasoning that she has to look at the back of the keeper’s head but he doesn’t.
The professional work was done by a nice young lady named Stella which gave the keeper an opportunity, as he and Phyllis were departing, to shout “STELLA!” loud enough to be heard downtown and getting the immediate attention of all those in the beauty college, several of whom may or may not have been edging toward the exits.
Obviously the keeper has no more class than that Marlon Brando “STELLA!” character, but it was fun to play the role however briefly.
If he had given his impulsive shout any thought it might have expanded to, “STELLA! MERRY CHRISTMAS!”
