Kickass, the doorstop dog, notes, along with the keeper and Phyllis, a most unusual circumstance across Wisconsin this morning: thousands of people—mostly men, sit in remote wooded locations alone with their thoughts while holding a gun capable of killing a large animal at great distances.
If this morning’s deer-stand thoughts could be captured and reported, it is the keeper’s sense that there would be no need to call the Nobel people about a prize for advanced thinking in the area of the human as predator.
Speaking from experience, the keeper suggests that deer-stand thoughts might be thrown in with AI as intrusive, meaningless and never to be shared in mixed company.
To all those out there on the Wisconsin deer stands this morning, the keeper suggests as deer-stand thought material the fact that except for the equipment involved you are no different than a lion waiting for a wildebeest or a cat waiting for a mouse.
Think about it, or not.
