Kickass, the doorstop dog, notes the keeper is more or less being called out for expressing a political view at a Vista West “Happy Hour” gathering.
In a letter to management, with a copy to the keeper, a “concerned resident” reported the keeper having said, “despicable things about the president of the United States” and he–the keeper, needed to shut-up and apologize!
The offended letter writer not only demanded an apology from the keeper but from management as well, specifying that “For you to allow someone to get up and spew that type of hatred and awful comments is sad. He has done this before and it needs to stop……This guy has no heart!”
Corporate response was a somewhat convoluted statement that danced past freedom of speech like it was a no-parking sign.
The keeper feels as if the principal’s office has him under observation for yelling in the halls, but he plans to keep yelling as he joins Phyllis and the rest of the “Silver Badgers” as they go about making the point that many Vista West residents want their voices heard in opposition to the current cruel narcissistic absurdity in the White House.
