Kickass and Cousins

Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports the keeper immersed in cousin matters as a result of a recent meeting with cousins Pat and Barbara and Ron, and then remembering what an incredible adventurous pleasure it was to have grown up with a raft of cousins almost within shouting distance.

That treasured cousin experience is being replicated in the Stokes clan with a raft of young cousins in Mazomanie and another in Minneapolis, and to witness or hear about their cousin shenanigans is to fill the hearts of the keeper and Phyllis with delight as they recall their own young cousin days.

The keeper remembers the Anderson cousins making a huge tree swing out of hay rope and a stock watering tank and nearly fracturing the keeper’s skull when a vigorous cousin-powered test swing crashed into the trunk of the support tree.

Here’s to all cousins everywhere, especially the “swingers!”
