Kickass, the doorstop dog, along with the keeper and Phyllis proudly announce their association with “Bad Ass Badger.” The story of “Bad Ass Badger” has its beginning when he was denied membership in the Silver Badgers, a Madison west-side group formed to demonstrate the objections of seniors to having their SS and health funds given to money-constipated billionaires.
Bad Ass Badger’s inability to clean up his language when hearing about such outrageousness doomed his Silver Badgers ambitions even though he lives with Phillis, one of its founders.
Taking matters into his own claws, Bad Ass Badger has appointed himself guardian, protector and spokes-badger for all the Silver Badgers who are hesitant about resorting to strong language or physical revolt even when the occasion literally demands them both.
Bad Ass Badger reminds all badgers, Silver and otherwise that they are related to the African honey badger and its technique of clamping its jaws on a victim’s face and holding on while clawing out its guts.
It is this “type” of activity the Bad Ass Badger will be working with Kickass to accomplish on behalf of the Silver Badgers on an “as needed” basis.
Suggestions are welcome.
(A portrait of Bad Ass Badger can be seen on the 5th floor balcony at Vista West as viewed from Gammon or Tree Lane.)
