Kickass and Shot in the Eye

Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports the keeper starting the day with the VA eye clinic deciding whether or not he needs yet another shot in the eye to protect him from the advance of the macular degeneration that was so generously handed off to him by his dear old mother. Back in mom’s day there was no injection treatment and she was almost totally blind when she died at 91.

Vista West neighbor Jack has volunteered transportation, and Phyllis provides some sympathy for the procedure which sounds worse than it is—a quick sting and then it is over, as many in the keeper’s age group know.

The keeper thanks all involved and hopes to keep seeing you all for as long as you are visible.
