Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports that the keeper has a message for the bat that was somewhere in the big barn type office supply store where the keeper and Phyllis were mortgaging their car to buy ink cartridges:
“Listen up, Bat. You do not want to be in here. The only bugs you will find are not edible and cost a lot of money.
“Store staff members say they have no idea how you got in but they plan to hire professional help to remove you. Just where you are in the store at the moment is unknown and if I were you I would stay there: bat removers, even moms with brooms are not noted for their gentleness.
“So, Bat, you are as out of place in this big tech barn as the keeper is and he wants out as much as you do because the joint makes him feel like he is in over his head and needs to go hang out in a dark quiet place. He would leave the door open for you but everything is so damn tech controlled these days he might end up losing Phyllis in checkout.
“Good luck!”
