Kickass and Blueberry Pie

Kickass, the doorstop dog, notes that the keeper and Phyllis try to find the reasons for any gains in their daily weigh-ins, with Phyllis being much the expert and frequently reminding the keeper of that.

So it was with the blueberry pie and the keeper presents his case:

THE BLUEBERRY PIE

It was an impulse thing, that blueberry pie

I had to have it or I’d probably die.

With an ice cream side, it was so good

We ate it all up just ‘cause we could.

I take the blame for the scale’s jump.

But there is no call to be a grump.

There’re more pounds to love of you and I

All because of a blueberry pie!
