Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports the keeper had another one of those challenging dining experiences when Phyllis, a health-oriented dining adventurer, directed the two of them to an ethnic eatery where the keeper could not read or understand the expansive menu, found it impossible to communicate with the waiter, and with Phyllis’s help ordered a mystery meal that resembled roadkill but apparently had great nutritional value.
It is too late in the keeper’s meat-and-potatoes life to make a sophisticated health-oriented world diner out of him, but Phyllis, to her credit and determination, keeps trying.
In the interests of dining compatibility and fairness, next time the keeper and Phyllis go out to eat, it will be to a place where the keeper can order a hamburger with a slice of raw and a beer, probably with fries and served by somebody with their Brewers baseball cap on backwards.
Being forewarned, Phyllis may order a BLT sandwich, or maybe just an “L” sandwich with a foreign name.
