Kickass, the doorstop dog, joins the keeper and Phyllis in greeting July 2025 with its explosive character of renewal: Gosslings! Ducklings! Bear cubs! Lambs! Fawns! Fresh berries! New potatoes! Sweet corn! The list is infinite.
It is a glorious time of fledging and fruiting and birthing behind the great green curtain. Millions of natural cycles are renewed, and to deny being a part of one of them is to have a problem with arrogance.
The keeper and Phyllis and all like them in their age group were once part of a cycle’s exciting beginning; and they appreciate still being around to witness the beginning of 2025’s cycles. They will be nice, but nothing like those beginning cycles when the keeper and Phyllis were perched on the edge of their respective parent’s nests with new wings at the ready.
