Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports that the keeper, being a senior member of the Willie Nelson age group—Willie having just celebrated his 91st birthday, found it interesting to learn that Willie prefers oatmeal for breakfast.
The keeper does not like oatmeal and he wonders if this might be part of the reason his musical career stalled out at closet button- accordion performances for Phyllis.
Maybe if he had been eating oatmeal instead of bacon and eggs all these years, he would be “On the Road Again” with his band.
Something to think for the keeper as he heads for the kitchen and the frying pan while humming the melody to “Whiskey River” on this morning of May 6, 2024.
