Kickass, the doorstop dog, will be assisting the keeper today as he sponsors a St. Pat’s birthday open house for Phyllis who was born on March 16 some years ago in Canada and frequently threatens to go back there given the current flow of US political “news.”
Phyllis is dissuaded from leaving the county by her many friends and by the keeper who says if she goes he goes and they will be stopping along the way to fish and eat Saskatoon berry pie.
The open house is today 1-4 p.m. at the Capital Club on the 5th floor of Vista West next door to Apt. 523 where Phyllis and the keeper live.
Red and white wine, green cake, and if you cannot attend you had better have an excuse that passes the Irish standard for malarkey.
