Kickass, the doorstop dog, joins the keeper in assuming the awesome responsibility of helping Phyllis and great-granddaughter Margaux celebrate simultaneous birthdays while not ignoring St. Patrick’s Day.
It was a triple threat challenge that seemed to invite the simple solution of a keg of green beer.
But there have been upgrades:
Following a party today for Margaux at the hilltop house in Mazomanie, Phyllis’s birthday will be celebrated Sunday with an open-house 1-4 p.m. at the Vista West Capitol Club next door to Phyllis and the keeper’s 5th floor apartment.
At this time and place, St. Pat’s Day will be acknowledged as a less noteworthy occasion for celebration.
You are welcome to participate–red and white wine, green cake and limited accordion music.
