Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports that the keeper and Phyllis shared an entertainment exercise with fellow Vista West residents in which the challenge was to identify baby photos with current subjects.
While the results were mixed, there was one verity: at one point in their lives every last one in the crowd of very senior subjects could have been accurately described as “cute.”
Looking out at the gathering with all its walkers and canes and walking sticks, challenged postures, wrinkles and grayness, the keeper concluded that “cute” can still be the operable description, especially as it is applied to him and Phyllis.
