Kickass, the doorstop dog, joins the keeper in an update that includes the following:

*Phyllis is at home recovering from her midnight heart attack, artery stent in place and feistiness intact.

*Reports of a very elderly man, who uses a walking stick, being lost in the maze of the UW Hospital are not exaggerated. Last seen trying to follow printed and verbal directions to the “B” elevators, the lost man should not be approached aggressively but instead taken by the elbow and gently shown the door. Ignore his whimpering.

*The connection between improved outdoor air in the Midwest and Phyllis’s health is strengthened with her assertion that, though she was born in Canada, the source of the the bad air, she intends to keep breathing deeply in the US, in the appreciative company of the keeper.

*The keeper will be writing an account of the last several days and is researching copyright on the title “All’s Well That Ends Well.”
