Kickass, the doorstop dog, joins the keeper in suggesting that the U.S. as a leader in global dumbing-down, needs to share some of its more successful dumbing-down techniques:
1. Give unlimited media attention to performing idiots spouting sheer inanity.
2. Stick with malfunctioning governmental structures until they implode with special interest money pressures.
3. Be patient with flat-earthers and conspirator theorists.
4. Call for more guns following all mass shootings.
5. Pretend that there is some normalcy in abject narcissistic buffoons lining up to run for high office.
6. Take seriously the threat that all of Florida may sink beneath the sea and fail to act as if that would be a regrettable circumstance.
7. Allow insufferable males to dominate the move to deprive women of basic personal rights that were put in place 50 years ago.
8. Ban books and allow knuckle-dragging locals to deny historical truth to the kids.
9. Continue to ignore the widening gap between the haves and have-nots until the homeless sleep on the White House lawn.
10. Live indifferent to the fact that the sky is falling!
