Kickass, the doorstop dog, agrees with the keeper that by now everyone, at least every fisherman, has heard about the two Ohio competitive fishing “champs” who were caught putting weights and other material inside their catches as they maintained their lead in the “Fisherman of the year” contest.

Jake Runyon and Chase Cominsky, highly visible on the professional fishing scene with painted boats, vehicles and clothing, will apparently not be in the running for the $500,000 or so prizes to this year’s winners of the Lake Erie Walleye Trail Championship.

That their deception and cheating was revealed at a very public event, and that they were then allowed to walk away unscathed is in keeping with the current way of things in which there is no accountability for being an unconscionable, lying jerk.

Runyon and Cominsky are rumored to be planning runs for political offices and are expected to receive the same endorsement from the former orange POTUS as that given to Herschel Walker.
