Kickass ,the doorstop dog, joins the keeper in offering the following vary short play entitled “Waiting With Old Vets.”
Scene: Waiting room at VA West. The keeper enters from stage left; and retrieves number 39 from the lab scheduling device as one of two waiting vets speaks: “They need to put Biden on the front line of that war over there. He’s ruining this country.”
The keeper removes his coat and hat and speaks, “Biden is my hero!”
“Is that right!” the first vet says.
A loudspeaker voice blares, “Now serving number 39.”
The keeper picks up his coat and hat and exits stage right in the company of a lab tech.
Curtain.
