Kickass, the doorstop dog, is not impressed as the keeper tries to make something out of Canada’s women’s hockey team beating the US team 3-2 to win Olympic gold by using former UW players in a game that the keeper’s Canadian-born wife Phyllis stayed up past midnight to watch on TV.
Phyllis watching any sporting event is rare in and of itself, but her choosing to do so over going to bed with the keeper at a decent hour is what he finds so remarkable.
The keeper would only ask Phyllis that when she makes such a choice, she needs to keep in mind that he too is a UW grad.
