Kickass, the doorstop dog, is totally impressed with the restraint exhibited by the keeper’s species as the likes of Michael Gableman and Fred Prehn and Robin Vos do their taunting buffoon dances across the Wisconsin public squares largely unmolested by the citizenry.
By comparable description, Trump’s 5th avenue shooting statement seems like a Boy Scout pledge.
That Gableman—who once replaced an honest Black member of the state’s supreme court through dishonest campaigning, and now talks to idiot conspiracists as he insults every Wisconsin voter with Big Lie babble, that he is allowed to continue to stick his Pinocchio nose into respectable state affairs is a travesty beyond the pale.
That Wausau dentist Prehn refuses to honor the end of his term on the DNR Board, thus leaving in place outrageous resource policies dictated by out-of-state narcissistic wolf and bear killers, that such a person continues to demolish a once proud and respected resource system is a travesty beyond the pale.
That Vos and his gerrymandered minority subvert basic decency and compassion and even citizen health interests, to kowtow to corporations and the rich one-percenters, that this minority rule circumstance continues to prevail is a travesty beyond the pale.
While it may be a mark of necessary civilized restraint to endure insulting and destructive circumstances and work toward methodical correction, there is an agonizing time of such frustration that the temptation to literally kick ass and “Throw the bastards out,” becomes almost unbearable and a travesty beyond the pale.
To Pogo’s “We have met the enemy and it is us!” must be added for Wisconsin purposes—“In the persona of Gableman, Prehn and Vos.”
In the dog world there are things that could be done, but Kickass says not to go there in the interests of preserving civilization.
