Kickass, the doorstop dog, is with the keeper as he—the keeper “rides” through unfamiliar Biblical “Revelations” territory with the four horsemen of the apocalypse, and a formulates a Wisconsin version to be known as the Four Horses Asses of Wisconsin’s Demise: Arrogance, Ignorance, Narcissism and Insensitivity.

Arrogance is Fred Prehn who refuses to step down from his expired term on the Natural Resources Board; Ignorance is Ron Johnson who promotes an anti-Covid-vaccine program; Narcissism is Robin Vos who ignores public needs from his gerrymandered saddle; and Insensitivity is Tom Tiffany and any number of others who support inhumane hunting practices and oppose any form of gun control.

The four Horses Asses of Wisconsin’s Demise may well attain the notoriety of the four 1924 Notre Dame football players who were written about by Grantland Rice; and one of whom—Harry Stuhldreher, later served as UW football coach.

The Biblical four horsemen were Death, Famine, War and Conquest, all of which the keeper sees as possibilities under the Four Horses Asses of Wisconsin’s Demise.  The Christian interpretation of the four horsemen is that a “divine end time is set as a harbinger of the last judgement.”

Kickass says, Happy Sunday!
