Kickass, the doorstop dog, hands off to the keeper on this Friday the 13th, 2025, when it is compulsory to talk about bad luck and the weather, there being a foot of snow forecast for Sunday.
The keeper may amp up his preparations for March 16, it being Phyllis’s birthday which far overshadows the Mar. 17 St. Pat’s Day, and if there is a foot of snow to contend with there will still be birthday cake and 39 candles even if the keeper himself has to bake the cake and light the candles!
Well, maybe not that extreme. More likely he will scheme in such a sneaky way that Phyllis ends up assisting in the acquisition of her own birthday cake.
The keeper will, of course, help her blow out the candles and make a birthday wish, perhaps having to do with the Silver Badgers out there on Gammon doing their “protect democracy” thing Saturday at 2 pm before the big snow comes.
