Kickass, the doorstop dog, notes that the keeper and Phyllis can do nothing about their membership in the “US Military Industrial Complex” except pay their dues and complain about the annoying roar of F-35s sharpening the spears of war out at Truax.

We hire our personal soldiers now from among the patriotic ranks of the working class, so money, now the dominant life force, also determines who dies in our military outings and it isn’t the sons and daughters of the billionaire industrialists in the MIC “Complex.”
