Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports the keeper is happy with the birthday celebration and parade over the weekend.
He wished a very happy 90th birthday to his brother Orville at the lunch party that included their 91-year-old sister Norma and Orv’s daughter Lea.
And then later there was a big crowd in a “No Kings” gathering at Tree Lane and Gammon that Phyllis had a big part in assembling.
It was a beautiful “parade” of all ages. No tanks or canons, just some mobility aids and 500 or so caring people who do not want to be identified with the venom spewing leadership now prevailing.
It was a great birthday party/parade weekend and included celebrating the Army’s 250th birthday: Orv wore his hat with an Army insignia and the keeper had one of his old Army dog tags on his key chain.
