Kickass, the doorstop dog, will be attending the keeper and Phyllis’s yard sale at which they will be offering the following unused writing analogies and other slightly used composition tools.

*Waiting for the courts to solve the current political outrage is like being on fire while the fire department holds a charity dance.

*Expecting compassion from Republicans is akin to thinking the rabid dog won’t bite.

*Accepting medical advice from a guy with a brain worm is like taking a cancer diagnosis to an auto repair shop.

*To put your hopes for world peace in the hands of former TV staffers is like thinking you won’t land hard when you jump out of the window.

*To expect decency and consideration from a proven narcissistic liar is akin to expecting kindness from a rock.

*To assume you are on the Titanic is one way to encourage making appropriate plans.

             *Keep cool!
