Kickass, the doorstop dog, noted the keeper’s delight with the recent posting by Becky W. of an old photo of him and his four sons at a long-ago rare moment when the sons were all lined up like innocent choir boys.
The photo dates to the early 1960’s which makes the keeper’s “boys” now approaching “old man” status and the keeper having surpassed that designation.
“We had a time, didn’t we, boys! Survival was not always guaranteed but excitement was! With your wonderful, besieged sister Pat in the mix, you gave me quality in-laws, a dozen grandchildren, countless great grandchildren and they are still coming. I thank you Larry, Scott, Rick and Mike for the thousand of things you did to make me tough enough to get as old as I am. If you are lucky you will live to understand that, and to look back on it all as one helluva ride! Thanks for the memories, boys, and know that “the old man” is still sorting through them and reviewing some dandies. Remember the time…………”
