Kickass at the River

Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports the keeper and Phyllis joining the flood of life forms spending time along the Wisconsin River as Spring dominates like green paint spilled everywhere.

The river, with its dark cold water running swift and steady has attracted life ranging from pelicans to people, loud mouthed ducks, silent tiny warblers up high in the new blossoms, soaring graceful eagles.

They all now come to the river, to stop briefly on their way to the business of summer, to check in with each other and to never seriously question the importance of sharing the river with everybody and everything!

Thanks to hosts Rick and Becky and to Mike for 50 meatballs.
