Kickass, the doorstop dog, defers to the keeper and Phyllis this day in the midst of the calendar confusion that occurs between February and March and which is supposedly corrected by a “Leap year.”
This year the February-March confusion was further complicated by the unexpected appearance of the April Fool who claimed the calendar right to do utterly unheard-of things. Having arranged for rich friends to purchase the presidency for him, the April Fool acted to disdain the “leader of the free world” label in favor of “narcissistic dictator in training.”
In a posting on “Up Your Truth” the April Fool cautioned his personal Russian aide to use extra safety pins in fastening on the April Fool’s adult diaper as additional stresses may be imminent.
In the meantime, the rest of the world trades complacency for concern; and wonders about survival on an ever shrinking and increasingly narcissistic poisoned planet.
