Kickass, the doorstop dog, turns it over to the keeper on this very windy day to remember a story his dear old dad told of his own boyhood in North Dakota when he hooked his coaster wagon to big tumbleweeds and let the wind pull him across the prairie on thrilling rides.  When there was no wind to propel his boyhood wagon, Dad had a goat to do the job, an ornery Billy goat that he told stories about.

The keeper and Phyllis will deal with the wind today using their own version of tumbleweeds and goats–lots of ornery goats doing their darndest to devour everything that has to do with those fun tumbleweed rides and living a compassionate life.

Thanks for the memories, Dad, and know that we are hanging on to the wagon as tight as we can!
