Kickass, the doorstop dog, stays home this morning as the keeper and Phyllis trot off to the VA eye clinic to learn more about the recent changes in the keeper’s AMD–Age relatd Macro Degeneration.
After years of careful monitoring and treatment by the combined VA and UW ophthalmologist teams, the keeper’s vision remains better than he deserves to expect given his genetics.
So he remains highly appreciative as he and Phyllis head off to the big VA facility.
But he wonders if maybe some of the expert, compassionate staff members might have received some inane note from Musk the insufferable telling them to write a goodbye message and get the hell off the VA premises.
It’s happening at the VA and elsewhere as MAGA staffs up with dimwitted narcissistic bullies and tells the voters they are not seeing what they are seeing.
There are some things it is better not to see, but a short, staffed VA is not one of them.
