Kickass, the doorstop dog, notes that in his many years of observing human behavior the keeper identifies one of those special relationships between clan members that is a joy to witness: It is the one between grandmothers and granddaughters and it was on full display Sunday as Alexis celebrated her 28thbirthday by meeting her grandmother Phyllis and their respective entourages for a Dells celebratory lunch.
Phyllis took her two teenage granddaughters–Alexis and Taylor on camping tours of National parks that included fording a flooded river and befriending wild horses.
The keeper regrets not having been along, but he would have cluttered up that special grandmother–granddaughter thing and that would not have been good.
