Kickass, the doorstop dog, stayed home as the keeper and Phyllis went across the street to the Memorial High School Planetarium for a great “heart”-themed show that refreshed their perspectives that as tiny heaps of casually arranged cells, they are not the big deals they sometimes seem to think they are.
Courtesy of tickets that friends Gene and Pat H. could not use, the keeper and Phyllis relaxed back in the special seats and went along on a planetary tour that included a trip to Mars that in real time would take two years coming and going, which would be a long time to make a Valentines Day visit to Culvers for the daily dessert..
The keeper and Phyllis will forget about Mars and “shoot for the moon,” it being only three days away and made of cheese to go with the Culver’s dessert.
