Kickass, the doorstop dog, while reporting the keeper’s unstinting dedication to truth and veracity, particularly as it pertains to his posts here, feels compelled to respond to a challenge from Hal Bergan as to whether the coyote found cowering some time ago in the freezer section of a Chicago Aldis grocery store was actually a coyote.
Hal sent along a photo of a coyote that frequents his Madison back yard and noted its authentic coyote appearance in comparison to the Chicago Aldis coyote.
If, as the keeper suspects, Hal is suggesting that the Chicago coyote may have descended from mixed ancestry which would include street dogs and opportunistic mutts, then there is no reason to doubt Hal’s judgement.
Having had some experience with the Chicago way of things, the keeper congratulates Hal on his political acuity as it pertains to coyotes and suggests that if his Madison backyard coyote were to hang around a grocery store it would likely be more upscale than Aldis which is where the keeper and Phyllis often shop for the basics.
Thank you, Hal! The truth marches on!
