Kickass and Coyote at Aldis

Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports that the keeper notes the news that a coyote is recovering at a wildlife center after being removed from the frozen food section of a Chicago Aldis grocery store.

It is speculated that the coyote entered the store after being frightened by traffic and then headed for a “cool” hiding place to avoid humans.

It seems worth noting that this is mating time for coyotes and the biological machinations of the sex drive does much more than drive coyotes to grocery store food freezers.

As regular Aldis shoppers, the keeper and Phyllis commend the Chicago coyote for its taste in grocery stores: Had it found itself in one of the bigger, pricier stores it might have been forced to wander the aisles like the keeper, muttering about not being able to find anything and exclaiming over exorbitant prices.

At Aldis, berries are on the right just inside the entry and they are cheap, or at least cheaper. The frozen food section is on the far wall, but it isn’t really that “far!”

Good luck to all you coyotes!
